Dating at college

There are countless reasons why it’s hard for college students to meet new people.

For example, the creators of Date My first got their idea for the site after their female friends complained that they were spending most of their time with other students enrolled in the school of social work, most of whom were women.

On the other hand, the guys in the business school were surrounded my mostly other men in their classes.

Online dating helped them meet students of the opposite sex at their school.

Some of my friends use dating apps just to make friends.

We’re expected to find ‘the one’ and be on the track to marriage by age 22, yet all college students want to do is grind at a bar, go home with someone and never have to see them again.

A lot of 20-somethings are just looking for a hookup, and with CMB, you know that the person is most likely looking for something a little more serious and mature. Meeting People Is Really Difficult In the “Real World” Yes, networking is incredibly easy when you’re in the startup world, but to meet potential lovers is tough.

Other students are so swamped with homework, internships, jobs and campus activities that they don’t have a lot of time to socialize.

Still others may be a bit shy and have trouble meeting new people in person.
