When you see the amount of dedication some people put into the biggest project of their lives – building their own home – it's surprising to think that they could ever find the will to sell up and move on.Yet some of the people who sweated so much to self-build their home on Grand Designs have chosen to move out – despite enduring years living in rented houses and having the tantrums and traumas associated with a project like this played out in front of the cameras and millions of TV viewers. The TV show debuted on January 8, 2007 and the first season was successful enough to warrant a renewal by March. At that point, it was one of the cable channel’s higher performers in the key demographics. They finally did and that kicked off in September 2008.The audience grew and the show became the cable channel’s top performer among Females 12-34 and Female teens.Sammy makes it to shore and the next day finds himself in an enclosure, taken in by human hippies and has the company of a cat named Fluffy.Eventually Sammy shares the enclosure with a larger turtle named Vera, however Vera is released into sea as it seems the two are not mating.
The answer is it absolutely could be a flakka case,” Martin County Sheriff William Snyder said, adding that the suspect from the Monday night double-murder case was "abnormally strong".
After the raft collapses, Sammy and Ray are caught in trawler nets and separated.
Hours later, Sammy is thrown back into the sea, but is revived by a dolphin.
It didn’t take as long to renew the series for year four. It ended up being one of the channel’s weaker programs of 2009, being outperformed by other ABC Family shows, including cancelled cancellation.
However, though it’s been favored by some critics, the series has never been a big hit for the cable channel and has only been given 10 episode renewals each season. Are you upset or surprised that the series has been cancelled?
